The digger or excavator is a staple of the construction industry, they are used for digging trenches, holes and foundations as well as clearing sites for building and dredging streams and rivers. They are also commonly used in forestry. They come in a wide variety of sizes to cover the vast number of jobs that are required from them. At McCullagh Machinery we stock a number of diggers for all types of jobs. Many of our customers know what they want or need for the job in hand but we can offer help and advise should you require it. Most often you will find that we stock diggers from manufacturers such as Hitachi, JCB, Kubota, Daewoo, Airman, Komatsu, Kubota and Yanmar amongst others.
Digger capabilities have gone way beyond simple excavation with the traditional bucket, now there are many hydraulic-powered attachments such as breakers, grapples and augers. We stock and supply new & used attachments and accessories from a number of leading manufacturers.
The McCullagh Process
Each used digger is hand-picked from one of a number of reliable sources and then will go through a meticulous process before it is offered for sale, firstly the machine will be cleaned thoroughly before being sent into the workshop to our experienced team of mechanics, any components that do not meet our standards will be replaced and any essential repairs to the body-work or panels of the digger will be carried in our body-shop to leave it as close as possible to it’s original state.
